Mary joined Arts & Business as National Director NI in 2008. In 2011 when A&B NI set up as an independent company she became CEO. Previously she was Head of Marketing & Development at the Ulster Orchestra, Lyric Theatre and the Grand Opera House in Belfast. She also worked in a trade marketing role in the private sector for Bass Brewers Belfast and spent some time marketing leisure services in Manchester. Mary is a member of the advisory committee for Creative & Cultural Skills NI
Colleen joined Arts & Business NI in 1994 and is External Relations Manager. Colleen previously worked within the advertising and legal sectors. Colleen’s primary role within the team is Public Relations & Communications, Website and Social Media Management, advocating A&B NI’s message to external stakeholders. She is the main point of contact for all media enquiries. Colleen holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Ulster University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Management from Queen’s University, Belfast. Colleen is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR) serving on the regional CIPR NI Board for 5 years.
Tania has almost twenty years professional experience in the arts and cultural sector. Initially the General Manager of a theatre company and then freelance Theatre Producer she quickly began training and lecturing on Arts Administration. Since 2001 her focus has been the strategic development of organisations and individuals through developing, managing and delivering award winning Learning & Development programmes and activities. Tania now manages A&B NI’s Governance Programmes and has many years on the ground experience of corporate governance in the arts sector through sitting on Arts Boards. Outside her work at A&B NI she has recently completed an MSc in Autistic Spectrum Disorders at QUB specialising in drama & theatre provision in NI for children with autism.
Brona has been working in the cultural sector in Northern Ireland for almost twenty years and during that time has worked with cultural organisations across Belfast including the Lyric Theatre and Replay Theatre Company. Brona joined Arts & Business NI as Arts Manager in 2007. She manages A&B NI’s Arts Membership programme including design and delivery of fundraising training and advice surgeries and the events programme. Brona also manages the Investment Programme which is designed to encourage inspirational, sustainable partnerships between businesses and the arts organisations they sponsor. Brona spends her spare time having fun with family, running and talking
Sarah Mackey, Executive & Business Support – Sarah joined Arts & Business NI in 2014. Sarah has extensive experience in business operations, account management and executive support. She provides support on business development and business member services and executive support to the CEO.
Kate Livingston joined the A&B NI team in the new Arts Development Support role. Kate recently graduated with BA Honours in Business from Leeds Trinity University and previously worked for A&B NI as a Social Media Intern during a university placement.
Kate will be supporting the Arts Manager and Learning and Development Manager to develop and deliver the Investment Programme; arts training programmes and the governance programmes
Maeve joined Arts & Business NI in November 2016, and has 25+ years business development experience. At the SHS Group, as Brand/Commercial Manager she created and built effective partnerships with a wide range of suppliers and customers, operating at all levels. Maeve also worked as Trading Manager at Musgrave NI and was responsible for sourcing and managing 700+ food to go products. In this role she was responsible for managing successful partnerships with 71 suppliers. Maeve volunteers with Marie Curie and Culture Night Belfast, and is a passionate supporter of the arts.
