Who we are
We operate an integrated communications programme which means we use your data to communicate with you through several different channels, including email. Our aim is to keep you up-to-date with all the latest news from A&B NI, however if you feel you no longer wish to receive mail or email communications from us, you are able to ‘opt out’ of them individually at any time.
What personal data do we collect?
When someone visits www.artsandbusinessni.org.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
What we use your data for
Data about you provided to A&B NI will be used for the purposes described at the time of collection.
As part of the registration process for our Arts membership and Business membership, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about things you’ve asked us to tell you about such as our events, training and programs and services; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer at email@example.com.
Occasionally we may need to share information with funding stakeholders on attendees of our events or recipients of our grants/investment programme. If we are required to do so, this information would not include your personal data or will be anonymised. We would never share your personal data without making you aware, or seeking your permission, in advance.
A&B NI may from time to time invite you to participate in surveys. This may occur online or using other communication channels. Anonymity of individual respondents and protection of personal details will be maintained except where you have expressly granted permission to the contrary. The information will be used to help us formulate our policy positions and to monitor or improve A&B NI products and services.
You may, at any time, opt out of any future A&B NI communication, digital or non-digital, promotional or non-promotional. If you wish to opt out of receiving postal communications please contact A&B NI. If you wish to opt out of email communications please use the ‘Unsubscribe’ link provided and follow the instructions.
