Human connection is crucial for effective Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives in the workplace. When employees feel a sense of belonging and connection, they are more likely to be engaged, productive and committed to the organisation.
Join us for an inspiring breakfast event in partnership with Ulster University Business School, exploring how businesses and arts organisations are embedding a culture of equity and inclusion through creative and human-centred EDI initiatives and how successful EDI can help fuel innovation in your workplace.
Discover practical tools and real-world strategies, including how Danske Bank have positioned the human element front and centre as part of their successful EDI initiatives. Danske Bank has been named by Best Companies UK as a 3-star ‘world-class’ employer, the highest standard of workplace engagement.
Hosted at CoSTAR Screen Lab, a new cutting-edge hub for virtual production and digital storytelling, we’ll also spotlight how technology is helping organisations innovate and break down barriers. We’ll hear how the S.U.R.F. programme is increasing access for young people in urban and rural communities by training them in virtual production and games design technologies.
Open Arts will be sharing their experience of delivering creative projects which foster inclusion and we’ll also hear from an autistic advocate, who uses his lived experience to promote inclusion for disabled and neurodiverse communities through an inclusive communications approach.
The event will also showcase EDI storytelling in action with an engaging live performance, details to be revealed...
