Join Arts & Business NI and Ulster University Business School for Creativity & Innovation in Business on Wednesday 17 April from 12-2pm.

Explore how businesses are embedding a culture of creativity and innovation through collaboration with arts and culture and discover more about the future of skills for innovation with Ulster University Business School.

We’ll hear from a diverse panel of business leaders, who will be sharing their experiences of the transformative power of creativity, which has propelled workforce innovation, generated new ideas and fostered a forward-thinking culture. We’ll also hear from the Ulster University Business School about future skills for sustainable innovation and the need for creativity and a transdisciplinary approach. This is aligned with their work on the Innovation Competency Framework for Inclusive Innovation research project which was commissioned by the Department for the Economy. We’ll also be joined by poet Maria McManus and composer Keith Acheson who will be sharing a captivating new performance piece.

 Speakers will include; Moira Doherty, Deputy Secretary for the Skills and Education Group, Department for Economy; John Harkin, CEO Alchemy Technology Services; Gillian Armstrong Professor of Business Education and Associate Dean at Ulster University Business School; Michael Brennan, Professor of Strategy and Sustainable Development, Ulster University Business School; Dr. Shirley Davey, Lecturer in Innovation and Management Development, Ulster University Business School and Donal Laverty, Consulting Partner, Baker Tilly Mooney Moore
